What is a Traineeship?
Traineeships are for 16-18 year olds qualified below Level 3 and are a programme of free tuition and job search support giving you the vital experience you need while building confidence through a work placement and gaining a qualification to prove you’re employable.
The programme lasts for up to six months and involves one study day a week plus two days of work experience – and throughout you will get lots of support.
You get maths and English tuition alongside CV and interview skills and will gain a Certificate in Workskills at the end.
So if you don’t have a job and haven’t had the chance to gain the experience or skills needed to find one then a Traineeship is just what you need – particularly if you don’t have many qualifications and are keen to progress into the world of work.
Plenty of opportunities
We have plenty of opportunities for Traineeships – whether you’re interested in childcare and hair & beauty or sales, graphic design and business admin.
It’s easy to apply too – If you’d like more information, just complete an application using the tab at the top of this page or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Once you’ve completed your Traineeship you’ll be in a great position to progress on to a job and/or begin an Apprenticeship – in fact most of our Traineeship learners land a job as an Apprentice with their work placement. Then you are on the road to success and can choose to continue with another qualification in your chosen career, move into management or even start your own business.
My tutor was really good and supportive – if I ever needed help I could call him and he was always there for me, The study days were laid back and I really enjoyed the whole experience.
